Oh, I can’t believe it’s already 26th of June! I’m actually a little bit crying inside as I’m writing this. Days are getting shorter now again and it’s all kind of bittersweet. The good thing is that I got to spend the longest day of the year with the best company and I really enjoyed everything. It was my first time taking part of Pühajärve Jaanituli which is like the biggest Midsummer party in Estonia. We started driving to Otepää on Friday afternoon and about 5 hours later we were there with lots of food, drinks and just a looot of stuff. Also picked up two friends on the way so it was just me and the boys but it was all cool and fun anyway. I did meet some lovely girls on the party though, so that was nice! Cheers if you’re reading this! Anyway we were lucky enough to be staying in a summerhouse that I had booked basically right before we started to drive. It was so so nice since we initially planned on sleeping in a tent which would have been kind of terrible considering that it was raining quite a lot on Friday. But everything worked out fine and we were all set for a great weekend! Let me just say that I have never had a weekend like this where I would party for two days but damn it was fun! I was so happy to share it with my bf and the fact that we got to make those fun memories together made everything just 10 times better.
I did actually bring my camera and laptop with me but they didn’t get any use over the weekend.
“I was just so in the moment there and completely forgot about time and taking pictures.”
We did take these few pics right before heading to the party on Saturday and I’m so happy with these. I can’t remember the last time we took proper pictures with my bf haha. So at least we have something to look back to! I know we both kinda look like we don’t want to be on this picture but the truth is that it was quite hard to pull on a normal face by that point. #keepingitreal
Anyway, it was one of the best Midsummer Eve for me and I can’t wait to go back to that beautiful place. I’ll actually be staying in the hotel (on the first photo) in July and I am so excited for it. I bet it’s gonna be another fun weekend to remember. But now it’s time to start packing as I’m leaving for Nice tomorrow already! Are you ready for the French Riviera posts?! I know I am!
